NEW SANITATION SCHEDULE
EFFECTIVE
Residential Garbage and Recycling Collection 2006-2007
For
Household Garbage
1. Once a week collection (see street listing) includes food wastes
and trash which can be put into normal garbage cans not weighing more than 60 Ibs. each when full
2. (4-30 gallon pail Limit Per household)
3. Additional service, such as in-driveway, in-garage and rear door
are available directly from BRIA. The cost for these
additional services are paid 3 months in advance. (please
call 277-4211 for additional information).
4. Household garbage must be out by
5. Paint cans will only be picked up if they are empty or do not
contain liquid paint. If you have any question regarding disposal of paint call
BRIA.
6. For special pick-up of materials such as construction debris or
bulky household items not routinely picked up during regular refuse service,
call 277-4211 to make pick up arrangements. The cost of these
additional services are paid directly to BRIA CARTING.
Newspapers, Magazines and Commingled
Recyclable

All goods should be out for pick-up by

All newspapers and magazines must be tied in bundles or
put securely in paper bags; commingled recyclables in approved plastic bags or
bins.

Please listen to WHUD, 100.7 FM for
reports on collection schedules. Driveways must be free of ice and snow for
in-driveway, in garage and back door pick-up.

Commercial Garbage

As part of your property taxes the Town
of

Pick-up is limited to either a 1 Ω
cubic yard container or four pails not weighing more than 60 Lbs. each.

Containers ranging in size from 1
Ω cubic yards to 10 cubic yards are available from BRIA CARTING.
·
Additional pick-ups and services are
available from BRIA CARTING at an additional charge.

All commercial garbage must be left
behind the building on the schedule collections days by

BULK DROP-OFF
Bulk drop off is
for resident’s household items only on the third Saturday of each month
between the hours of
Construction,
renovation or remodeling debris including kitchens, baths, deck and windows
will NOT be accepted. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners or any other
appliance containing Freon must be discharged and tagged by a State authorized
specialist.
