The Comprehensive Plan Committee was appointed in 2008 to assist the Town Board in developing a long-range vision for the Town of North Salem. Ferrandino & Associates, Inc., a professional planning firm, were engaged to assist the volunteer committee to develop the new plan. The committee is actively working with all the other town boards and committees as well as holding regular public information sessions to ensure that the broadest input and information is considered in developing our long-range plan for North Salem. Volunteers are always welcomed. There is no limitation or restrictions on how long individual members serve on the committee.
