The Town Clerks Office issues New York State Sporting Licenses for big and small game hunting, trapping and fishing. Licenses run from October 1st to September 30th of the following year. Proof of identity and address is required. For hunting licenses proof of a prior license or a hunter-training certificate is also required.

- Senior Sportsman/Military Disabled) - $ 5.00
- Sportsman (Small & Big Game, Fishing) - $37.00
- Super Sportsman - $68.00 (Small & Big Game, Fishing, Bowhunting, Muzzleloading and Turkey Permit)
- Conservation Legacy - $76.00 (Small & Big Game, Fishing, Bowhunting, Muzzleloading, Turkey Permit, Habitat Stamp & Conservationist Magazine)
- Bowhunting - $16.00

Dog Licenses (issued by Town Clerk)
State and local laws require that all dogs over six (6) months of age be licensed. Proof of vaccination and spaying or neutering is required. License fees are as follows:
Male Neutered/Female Spayed: $7.50
Male Unneutered/Female Unspayed: $15.50
Kennel Licenses for:
1 to 10 dogs, the fee is $25.00
11-25 dogs, the fee is $50.00
26 dogs and over, the fee is $100.00
Plus an additional $5.00 per License and $3.00 for each Unspayed/Unneutered dog over 6 months of age listed on the Kennel License.
There is no fee for guide dogs, war dogs, police dogs, hearing dogs, service dogs.
