The Planning Board reviews and approves applications
for site development, subdivision and conditional use, signs and
tree-removal permits, as well as some wetland permits. The Planning Board
also conducts environmental reviews under the New York State Environmental
Quality Review Act [SEQRA] associated with all development applications.
The Planning Board also handles referrals from the Town Board on general
planning efforts such as revision and review of the Town’s Zoning
Ordinance and other Town laws and regulations and comprehensive plans.

The Planning Board office is open from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30
p.m.

Planning Board Meetings and Deadlines
- Regular Meetings: First Wednesday of every
month. Regular meetings are
primarily for the review of land development applications (for
subdivision, site development plan, wetland permit and tree-removal).
- Workshop Meeting: Third Wednesday of every
month; Work shop meetings are primarily for the review of more general
and long-term planning matters.
- Application Deadlines: All applications to the
Planning Board are due well in advance of Regular meetings. Please check with the Planning Board
Secretary for a current schedule of application deadlines. Application packets are also
available at the Planning Board Secretary's office.
