Adult Men's Soccer

This program runs during the summer, dates to be announced. Practices are on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Games are Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. For more information call Ben Golisano at (914) 669-5639.

Tennis

Tennis courts are located at Joe Bohrdrum Park. A recreation card is needed to play and may be obtained by calling the Recreation Office.

Senior Citizen Club

If you are 55 years of age or older, you are eligible to join our very active senior citizen club. Meetings are held at 11:30 am on the second Tuesday of the month at the North Salem Fire House. Seniors are asked to bring their own bag lunch; club members provide dessert and coffee. At 12:30 pm the Business Meeting begins followed by a speaker and announcements of upcoming events, trips, etc. For more information call Peter Bisulca at (914) 669-5662.

Annual Senior Citizen Installation Luncheon

Is usually held in June at Chuck's Steak House in Danbury, Ct. Cost and details for this year's lunch is yet to be determined. Reservations will be required; call Beverly Golisano at 669-5665. All seniors are welcome!

Nutrition Program

The Somers-North Salem-Lewisboro Nutrition Program is held at Wayne Van Tassel Memorial Park, Route 139, Somers. It provides lunch Monday through Friday at Noon. Lunch reservations MUST be made one day in advance by calling (914) 232-0807 between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The suggested contribution is $2.00.

North Salem F.I.S.H

"Friends in Service Here" is a group of concerned neighbors who offer emergency rides to those who have no other means of transportation, primarily to doctors' appointments, clinics and hospitals. This free service can be obtained by calling (914) 277-5800 (Waterview Nursing Care Center). A special thank you to our coordinator Kathy Sullivan. If you can HELP DRIVE ambulatory neighbors one or two days a month, call the Recreation Office.
