Smile Program
Say "Thank You" to a veteran. This is an ongoing program that asks various groups along with the North Salem Girl Scouts to make holiday cards for disabled veterans. Cards are mailed to the Roosevelt Veterans Hospital in Montrose throughout the year. Anyone wishing to help can call the Recreation Office for more information.
Babysitting Program
For youths ages 10-15 to provide information and help develop skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children, including skills in leadership, safety and safe play, basic care, first aid and professionalism. The date and fee for this four-hour program will be announced later. Call the Recreation Office for future dates.
Drama/Theatre Group
This class will be a simplistic approach to the art of musical comedy. It will consist of movement, dance, theater games, character building, scene work, all culminating in a scene and dance number from a musical comedy. Those interested should call the Recreation Office for more information. Instructors are Barbara Rue and Jennifer Ryan.
Scrap Booking
Join in for a special project. Participants are asked to bring their own adhesive, scissors and favorite pictures, etc. Instructor Janice D’Erasmo. Call the Recreation Office to register.
