MS4 Stormwater Information
North Salem is in the East of Hudson Watershed, one of the most sensitive watersheds in New York State, that supplies drinking water to millions of people. We are required to file annual reports on how the Town is fulling the goals it set in its Stormwater Management Plan. There are six minimum measures that must be met: public education and outreach, public involvement and participation, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site and post-construction site control, and, stormwater management for municipal operations.
