Senior Services

The Town of North Salem offers the following Senior Services:

  • North Salem Community Center, 3 Owens Road, Croton Falls
      • Classes and programs for all - fitness, arts, educational, social

      • The newly renovated space at the North Salem Community Center is open to residents from 9am to 4:30pm on weekdays, offering a lounge area with fast wifi, TV, games, puzzles, books, coffee, tea, snacks, informative brochures, a Little Library from the Friends of the Ruth Keeler Library, and free fitness, crafting, and educational programs – stop by for a visit!
    • Senior Nutrition Programs
      • North Salem has partnered with the Town of Somers to provide home delivered meals to seniors 60 years of age or older who cannot leave their home. Learn more about how to sign up for this program here.
    • Adult Programming
      • View fitness, arts, and educational programming for adults here.

    Services offered by the North Salem Community:

    • F.I.S.H - "Friends In Service Here"
        • Community members who offer non-emergency rides to those who have no other means of transportation, primarily to doctors' appointments, clinics and hospitals. This free service can be obtained by calling (914) 733-6188 and speaking with the coordinator, Kathleen Sullivan.  Also, if you are able to help by driving ambulatory neighbors one or two days a month, please give us a call!
      • North Salem Senior Citizens Club
        • For residents at least 50 years of age. Join the club here.
